Sam was a member of SCAMPS/TEMPO from 2011-2015 and took on roles such as Marius in Les Miserables. Whilst Sam loves to perform, it’s his film making and directing that’s putting his name on the map! Sam started off making home movies with his friends and is now “One of the most talented young filmmakers we've come across in recent years” – British Film Institue.

Sam won the BFI's annual "most promising talent" award at aged 16, with a prize of £5000 to make a short film. Sam's short LIFELINE received a nomination for the Oscar/BAFTA qualifying Best Narrative Short Award at Rhode Island International Film Festival 2016. Sam has been recently commissioned one of two of Random Act's new 'major £10,000 commission'. His film 'yandass.mov' is a collaboration with dancer Yandass Ndlovu, and has worked alongside electronic duo 'Underworld' (Trainspotting, London 2012 Opening Ceremony) to create the soundtrack. He was selected as one of six directors on the National BFI Film Academy programme at the NFTS in 2015.  He is currently in his final year studying English and Drama at Bristol University.

This is an amazing start to Sam’s career and he’s only 20! Watch this space…
